During the reign of King Yeonsan of the Joseon Dynasty, two street clowns Jangsaeng (Kam Woo-sung) and Gong-gil (Lee Joon-gi) are reluctant to join the local entertainer troupe and travel to the capital Seoul to make a living. King Yeonsan (Jung Jin-young) is a tyrant obsessed with his concubine Jang Nok-su (Kang Sung-yeon) and ignorant of court affairs and people’s well-being. Jangsaeng and Gong-gil mock the king at their street performance and get themselves arrested. They’re given a chance...
